The Borough of Wharton is pleased to announce a safer, more convenient way for the residents and DPW to handle garbage collection. Wharton has begun issuing a special cart that is to be used for household garbage only. For more information please click here and see the frequently asked questions below (updated 6/28/24). Second Garbage Carts are now available to order. To Order a Second Garbage Cart please fill out the application and lease agreement and bring it to Town Hall with your payment (cash or check only). All orders must be in by July 31st! Once the larger order is placed, we will advise of delivery dates.
