Wharton Public Library

The Wharton Public Library has approximately 24,000 books, 50 magazine and newspaper titles, 3,800 audio titles and 2,000 DVDs. Through their membership in the Morris Automated Information Network (M.A.I.N.) library users have access to thousands of additional materials.

They also have 12 public computers, printing, notary services, tax prep, free high-speed wireless internet, Chromebooks to loan. and ipads with over 50 educational games for children. Through their membership in the M.A.I.N. alliance and our association with the New Jersey State Library they have research databases available for public use.

Wharton Public Library

Borough of Wharton

Wharton is a community of approximately 6,500 residents in the highlands of Morris County. Wharton is located between Routes 15, 46 and 80, stretching south from the main entrance of Picatinny Arsenal, a major army research and development center, to Route 46 abounded on the west by Roxbury Township and the east by Dover and Rockaway Township. The Borough is approximately 2.2 square miles.
