Summer is in full swing in Wharton!

 July brings the beginning of our Summer Recreation Program. This year we have a record number of children signed up and it’s going to be a lot of fun.

In August, we have Canal Day on August 24th from 10am-5pm at Hugh Force Canal Park. For more information on Canal Day click here.

Also on August 24th is the Annual Fireworks. Festivities start at 7:30 pm. The fireworks show starts when it's dark.

The next concerts in our summer concert series are Winslow on July 26th, Winslow on July 28thand High in the Mid 80s on August 16th. All are from 6-9pm at Betty Poyer Field. For more information on the concert series click here.

This September we are also hosting a brand-new event Hog Wild Wharton! It will be on September 14th starting at 1 pm at Betty Poyer Field. Click here for more information as it becomes available.

Borough of Wharton

Wharton is a community of approximately 6,500 residents in the highlands of Morris County. Wharton is located between Routes 15, 46 and 80, stretching south from the main entrance of Picatinny Arsenal, a major army research and development center, to Route 46 abounded on the west by Roxbury Township and the east by Dover and Rockaway Township. The Borough is approximately 2.2 square miles.
