The Borough of Wharton is now hiring the following positions for the 2021 Summer Recreation Program:

SUMMER RECREATION PROGRAM DIRECTOR – The Borough of Wharton in Morris County is seeking a highly motivated, responsible, and well-rounded individual for a Summer Recreation Director position. Experience with working with children and CPR/AED training is required. This is a temporary position for the 2021 Summer Recreation Program. The Director is responsible for planning the program and running the program for approximately 175 children from July 7 through August 13, 2021. Summer Recreation is Monday-Friday from 9-12 during that time period. The Director is responsible for managing all other Summer Recreation staff members as well.  Applications may be picked up at Town Hall located on 10 Robert Street 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM Monday through Friday or can be found here applications must be submitted to the Personnel Administrator, Gabrielle Evangelista by April 30, 2021. ASSISTANT SUMMER RECREATION PROGRAM DIRECTOR – The Borough of Wharton in Morris County is seeking a highly motivated, responsible, and well-rounded individual for an Assistant Summer Recreation Director position. Experience with working with children and CPR/AED training is required. This is a temporary position for the 2021 Summer Recreation Program. The Assistant Director is responsible for helping the Director plan the program and run the program for approximately 175 children from July 7 through August 13, 2021. Summer Recreation is Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-Noon during that time period. SUMMER RECREATION COUNSELOR SUPERVISOR- The Borough of Wharton in Morris County is now accepting applications for a Summer Recreation Counselor Supervisor. The Counselor Supervisor is responsible for items including the scheduling of Counselors, weekly time-sheets, and assistance with campers aged 5-entering eighth grade. The 2021 program runs from July 7 through August 13 M-F from 9 a.m.-Noon with weekly offsite trips. Applications may be picked up at Town Hall located on 10 Robert Street 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM Monday through Friday or can be found here. Applications must be submitted to the Personnel Administrator, Gabrielle Evangelista by April 30, 2021.
