From the Office of Mayor Chegwidden:
It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I announce the passing of Wharton's Business Administrator and Chief Financial Officer Joseph Kovalcik Jr.
Joe has served the Borough since 2021 and has made numerous contributions to improve our Borough while keeping us financially sound. We will all miss his dedication and sense of humor.
This is a great loss for our community, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. We send our sincere condolences to his wife, children, family, and friends and hope that their happy memories with Joe bring comfort during this difficult time.
