2021 Free Rabies Shot Clinic

Wharton will be holding the annual free rabies shot clinic on Thursday, December 9th from 6-8 pm at the DPW Garage located at 180 W. Central Ave. If there is a line it will be outside so please dress accordingly. The clinic will be offering a 3 year vaccination for both cats and dogs. There will be no animal licensing done at the clinic. Animal licenses for 2022 need to be renewed in January of 2022.

Wharton is located between Routes 15, 46 and 80, stretching south from the main entrance of Picatinny Arsenal, a major army research and development center, to Route 46 abounded on the west by Roxbury Township and the east by Dover and Rockaway Township. The Borough is approximately 2.2 square miles.
