Halloween Events

HalloWharton is on Saturday October 27th. This event is for Wharton residents only.
 
For kids 5th grade and under at Hugh Force Park by the Canal from 4-6 p.m. There will be a haunted hay ride, pumpkin painting, DJ with music and games, and a costume contest with prizes for adults, kids and pets. Wharton FOP will be also be there cooking hot dogs.
 
For middle school students, high school students, and adults only at Betty Poyer field on the corner of West Central Ave. and West Dewey Ave. from 7-10 p.m. There will be laser tag, a bonfire and a movie (rated pg-13) up on the big screen.
 
The annual Halloween House Decorating Contest will be judged on Monday, October 29th. Sign up with Robin at Town Hall (973-361-8444 x2710) if you'd like to participate.
 
The Wharton Fire Department is hosting Safe Trick or Treating for Wharton residents at 6 p.m. the Firehouse on Halloween. 

Borough of Wharton

Wharton is a community of approximately 6,500 residents in the highlands of Morris County. Wharton is located between Routes 15, 46 and 80, stretching south from the main entrance of Picatinny Arsenal, a major army research and development center, to Route 46 abounded on the west by Roxbury Township and the east by Dover and Rockaway Township. The Borough is approximately 2.2 square miles.
