Wharton Pride- Clean Community Day

Wharton Pride- Clean Community Day is Saturday, June 2. Volunteers are needed to help with various areas around town. To volunteer contact Patty Craven at 973-361-8444x2712. Volunteers are meeting at 8 a.m. at the Wharton DPW Building at 180 W. Central Avenue.

As a part of Wharton Pride Day, Wharton Borough is offering a free shredding service for Wharton residents from 8 a.m. to Noon at the Wharton DPW Building. 

There will also be a town-wide garage sale. Residents are encouraged to host a garage sale on Wharton Pride Day. A garage sale permit from Town Hall is still required but the $5 fee will be waived ONLY for sales on Saturday, June 2, 2018. 

Borough of Wharton

Wharton is a community of approximately 6,500 residents in the highlands of Morris County. Wharton is located between Routes 15, 46 and 80, stretching south from the main entrance of Picatinny Arsenal, a major army research and development center, to Route 46 abounded on the west by Roxbury Township and the east by Dover and Rockaway Township. The Borough is approximately 2.2 square miles.
